Sudarshan is a Tamil Brahmin born and brought up in the values of the Iyengar tradition of South India. He has been a lifelong student of the Ubhaya Vedanta framework unique to the Sri Vaishnava Sampradaya of Sri Ramanujacharya. He was initiated in the sampradaya by HH Sri Ranga Ramanaja Jeeyar swamy of the famous Tirumala-Tirupati temple in 2008. Sudarshan has learned various scriptures of this Sampraday through various upakaraka acharyas including, Sri Velukkudi Krishnan Swamy, and Sri Seshadri Swamy. He continues to spend 4 hours a week with Sri Seshadri Swamy in learning the secret scriptures of this tradition. He is keen on bringing out the essential knowledge of this sampradaya out for more people to know and appreciate. He lives in Georgia, USA.
